Dr Mark L Levy is a locum general practitioner in London with a strong interest  and expertise in asthma. He was the clinical Lead for the National Review of Asthma Deaths (NRAD 2011-2014), and has been expert witness for a number of coroner's inquests involving asthma deaths. He is a Board member and chair of the Dissemination Working Group of the Global Initiative for Asthma (GINA- www.ginasthma.org) and is a member of the National Child Mortality working group on asthma deaths due to report later in 2024.

He is active in teaching , writing and research in asthma and also does a weekly podcast called the Asthma Spotlight (for patients and health care professionals) which is available on Spotify, Apple and on his website at www.bigcatdoc.com.
