Josie Lodge is a Band 7 Paediatric Respiratory Physiotherapist Specialising in Long Term Ventilation. Having qualified from Keele University, 2014, she completed junior rotations at Musgrove Park Hospital, Taunton, Somerset. Before moving to Southampton Childrens Hospital, 2017, specialising in paediatrics and completing several rotations as a Band 6 paediatric physiotherapist. In March 2020 she was redeployed during the COVID pandemic to Adult Intensive care for 6 months. In August 2020 she secured her Band 7 Respiratory/LTV post, spending 6 months in post before being redeployed again to adult intensive care for ‘Surge 2’ of the COVID pandemic for another 4 months. However, since then she has continued to assess and develop the Respiratory/LTV Physiotherapy service in the community.
