Dr Elaine Chan is a Consultant Respiratory Paediatrician at Great Ormond St Hospital. Her subspecialty interests are sleep medicine and long-term ventilation. She is the clinical lead in Non-invasive Ventilation and Respiratory service(s). Her current research focuses on adherence to non-invasive ventilation, its barriers/facilitators, and relation to health outcomes. She served as a member of BTS guideline group previously. More recently, she has been involved in NCEPOD national long-term ventilation survey (2019) and ERS paediatric non-invasive respiratory support taskforce (2019-21). She is an active member of the Pan-London LTV network, helping to shape the policy and care of home-ventilated children.
