Charlotte Wells is a clinical specialist paediatric respiratory physiotherapist at the Royal Brompton Hospital and Associate tutor and Honorary Lecturer at The University of East Anglia. Charlotte’s clinical specialism is in treating breathing pattern disorders including exercise induced laryngeal obstruction. Charlotte is also a specialist teacher trainer in breathing pattern retraining Buteyko Breathing Method in the UK. Charlotte is a founding member of a national collaborative of specialist physiotherapist within the UK (Kid’s Cornerstone Collaborative) working with children with asthma and/ or dysfunctional breathing to progress current clinical practice. Charlotte is currently leading a research projects focusing on breathing retraining for teenagers with long-COVID.
