Paediatric Respiratory Nurse Specialist, RMCH

I am very excited to be a part of the KJP Paediatric Respiratory Conference this year. I began my nursing career 10 years ago on a tertiary medical ward at RMCH with an interest for all things respiratory. Around 2 years ago, I progressed to a respiratory nurse specialist role where I have been able to pursue my passion in asthma. I am always eager to complete courses such as the ‘enhancing asthma care’ degree and the NMP course, to expand my knowledge and skills, helping to create a stronger respiratory nursing team. This is my first time attending the KJP event face to face as my last experience was virtual due to the pandemic. It’s a fantastic opportunity to meet other professionals from around the country and expand my knowledge to take back to my hometown of Manchester and improve the care of children and young people at RMCH.
